Request.QueryString() for Javascript (ver. 1.41) Overview his web page is the home of the “ CSJSRequestObject ” script. The CSJSRequestObject is a free client-side javascript function that mimics  ASP 's server-side  Request.QueryString()  command. It is designed for use in ordinary  HTML pages. It allows you to easily read data in  URL s after the “?”. E.g. If the script has been added to the HTML source of “ somepage.html ” on the “ www.example.com ” webserver, then with a URL like “ http://www.example.com/somepage.html?username=bill ” you can use this script to test if “ username ” exists in the URL and retrieve its value (“ bill ”) for use in your own scripts.
